blessed //

 Jesus knew exactly what he was doing when he placed this man in my life.  He blesses my heart like no one else and shows me with rawness the genuine love of the Father.  His life is a testimony of the blessings and continual grace that God pours on his children. To have him as a friend is to see first hand the beauty of Jesus.  My heart is full of thanksgiving for this Handsome man.

A Choice

Yes, I'm alive. No, I have not blogged in quite some time! For that, I deeply apologize.

Jesus has been showing me the simple, yet often times difficult process of simply being in his presents.
Thinking on this act of reverence is simple, however often times we mistake it as something irrelevant to our daily walk with Him.

I believed the above statement as truth for so very long, and still struggle to see the crazy wonderful impact that it brings on life. Jesus shook me, however.

"Am I not good enough for you? Are my affections not strong enough to sway your heart into loving me with your entire being?  I am all you need. I know every crevice of your heart, yet i love you more than you could ever comprehend. Abide in me, and don't worry. I'm never leaving."

Yeah. We humans here on earth are pretty stupid sometimes. I am defiantly one of those stupid individuals. even worse, I am a control freak. I need to know whats going on at all times. If i don't, i feel unsafe and completely lost in every possible way.

Thats when my self conscious needs to submit to the one who created it, and realize that It is absolutely n o t h i n g without Jesus.

Just be. This is my goal. Because he is worth every ounce of my attention, and adoration. He alone is worthy of all i can give.

Today, my beautiful friend, Becky & I went on a photo shoot to get our minds off looming homework. I am so crazy thankful for her friendship. she is and will always be near & dear to my heart!

um. woah. tomorrow is OCTOBER! what in the world! time is crazy flying. this upcoming month is probably my favorite though, so my heart is happy. here are some shots from this past week ish:

Praise Him.

this weekend was one of the best I've had in a really long time. Jesus blessed my heart through his holy spirit THICK & i got to spend time with my bestest friend.  Praise the Lord.

oh yeah! Anna & I went to Iron Man 3 movie on the Regent Lawn. we got into it.
